Having been nominated by my brother GP Makoni to undertake a 10 day challenge in which I daily post at least one thing I am grateful for, I heartily start the journey. I have an attitude of gratitude.
On this beginning day I remember my Creator, Lord, Saviour and Redeemer. Thank you Lord for thinking of me and bringing me onto the earth for such a time as this. I believe I am part of your deliberate and well thought out strategy to defeat Satan and bring solutions to the world. I thank you not only for creating me but for saving me from my sins and planting my feet on the paths of righteousness. Because of your gracious work on the Cross today I stand redeemed and saved. Though I was a sinner yet through your amazing grace you transformed me into the righteousness of God in Christ. Thanks a million Jesus!
Today I take time to thank you Lord for not only saving me but for also dealing with my faults and failures mercifully. I can identify with the songwriter who sang Here am I so unworthy of the Blood, unworthy of the Blood and yet it flows for me. Yes though sometimes I falter and bring you shame, yet just a drop of that blood makes me whiter than snow. Thank you for dealing gently with me. Yes you have always looked beyond my fault and seen my need. You see me with the eyes of mercy!
Finally I thank you for preserving, protecting, delivering, prospering and healing me. I can boldly declare that I am what I am today because of the grace of God. Thank you for your redeeming grace! I am indeed forever grateful for the Cross and the Resurrection of Christ. Today I am seated together with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. Right there where the devil cannot do me any harm!
Not to us. Not to us. But to you be the glory Lord! Ndinodzorera mbiri Yose kuGwayana! May my life always reflect your Glory Lord and bring you pleasure for that is what I was created to do!
Soli Dei Gloria! To God Alone be the Glory
